Jak dojechać i poruszać się po Paryżu

 Paryż to centrum polityczne, ekonomiczne i kulturalne Francji, a także Europy. Znajdują się tu liczne zabytki i atrakcje turystyczne, co powoduje, że Paryż jest corocznie odwiedzany przez miliony turystów. Poniżej opiszę jak dotrzeć do Paryża i nie zgubić się w tym pięknym mieście.
Najszybszym środkiem transportu do Francji jest samolot. Przelot samolotem na trasie Polska - Francja (Francja - Polska) trwa około 2 godziny 30 minut i oferuje go 5 linii lotniczych (Wizz Air, EasyJet, Ryanair, LOT oraz Air France).
Paryż posiada 3 wielkie porty lotnicze połączone z centrum miasta linią autobusową i kolejką RER:
- Le Bourget (13 km na północny-wschód od Paryża),  
- Orly (11 km na południe od Paryża),
- Roissy - Charles de Gaulle (23 km na północ od Paryża).
W pobliżu znajduje się także port lotniczy w Beauvais (80 km na północ od Paryża).
Jak dojechać z lotniska do Paryża - najlepsze połączenia:
z Beauvais
- autobus: bilet 15 euro (2011 r.), zatrzymuje się w Paryż - Porte Maillot;
z Orly
- RER C: przystanek Pont de Rungis - Aéroport d'Orly, posiada kilka przystanków w Paryżu, bilet 3,95 euro (od 1 lipca 2011 r.)
- OrlyBus - autobus kursuje pomiędzy Paris - Denfert-Rochereau a lotniskiem Orly, co 15-20 minut, czas podróży: 30 minut, pierwszy autobus o 5h35, ostatni około 23h, cena biletu: 6,9 euro, bilet lepiej kupić wcześniej;
z Roissy - Charles de Gaulle
- RER B: 2 przystanki na lotnisku: "Aéroport Charles de Gaulle 1" z Terminalu 1 i 3 oraz "Aéroport Charles de Gaulle 2-TGV" z Terminalu 2, posiada kilka przystanków w Paryżu, bilet 9,1 euro (od 1 lipca 2011 r.)
- RoissyBus - autobus kursuje pomiędzy Paris-Opéra a lotniskiem Charles de Gaulle, co 15-30 minut, cena biletu: 10 euro, bilet lepiej kupić wcześniej.

Przejazd autokarem na trasie Polska - Francja (Francja - Polska) zależy od trasy i waha się w przedziale 10 do 30 godzin. Przejazd z Warszawy do Paryża zajmuje około 24 godzin. Cena biletu podstawowego (bez zniżek) wynosi od 200 zł do 600 zł za przejazd w jedna stronę.
Podróż pociągiem z Polski do Francji nie jest tania, a ponadto nie ma bezpośredniego połączenia. Przykładem niech będzie podróż z Warszawy do Paryża, gdzie należy się przesiąść w Kolonii, w Berlinie, we Frankfurcie nad Menem lub w Düsseldorfie. Podróż trwa około 18-22 godzin. Bilet w jedna stronę kosztuje od około 700 zł (wraz z miejscówką) i więcej w zależności od trasy i klasy podróży.
Podróż samochodem trwa średnio od 10 (np. Poznań - Lille) do 28 godzin (Gdańsk - Marsylia) w zależności od wybranej trasy. Okolic Paryża, Lyonu i innych większych miast powinno się unikać w godzinach szczytu. Francuskie autostrady są płatne. Maksymalna dopuszczalna zawartość alkoholu we krwi: 0,5 promila.
W Paryżu można skorzystać z wielu środków transportu:
RER to podmiejska kolejka w Paryżu (5 linii oznaczonych literami od A do E i kursujących poza granice Paryża - od 1 do 7 strefy).
Metro w Paryżu to 14 linii ponumerowanych od 0 do 14 i kursujących w granicach miasta - 1 i 2 strefa w Paryżu.
Tramwaj w Paryżu oznaczony jest symbolem T - Tramway - posiada 4 linie i 4 planowane linie (po 2011 r.), obejmuje 1 i 2 strefę w Paryżu.
Autobus w Paryżu oznaczony jest symbolem B - Bus.
Noctilien - autobus - linie nocne.
Balabus - autobus kursujący pomiędzy głównymi obiektami turystycznymi od Gare de Lyon do La Defense.
Montmartrobus - autobus kursujący po wzgórzu Montmartre.
Batobus - pływające statki od maja do września po Sekwanie i zatrzymujące się w 6 punktach rozmieszczonych wzdłuż rzeki.
Rowery - w większych mistach i miejscowościach turystycznych - w Paryżu zwane Velib'.
Taksówki - około 470 postojów.
Paryż to duże miasto i warto skorzystać z wyżej wymienionych środków transportu. Czasami jednak lepiej poznawać go pieszo, "zagubić się" w uroczych uliczkach i poczuć niepowtarzalną atmosferę Paryża.
